As school counselor, I find myself in many situations trying to figure out what motivates students. If we can find what motivates them then perhaps they may produce satisfactory results. Not quite sure this video give me the answer, but the ARTWORK and message does get me thinking.

Welcome new students and welcome back returning students.
I want to thank all the students who helped out with our new student orientation on Sunday, Aug. 16th. The feedback from new students was positive and the social interaction went along way in helping our new students feel comfortable on the first school day.

Nest Test: Vlaue of $125,000 a Year Teachers – article in the NY Times about a new charter school that is luring excellent teachers (the salary helps!) as part of their theory that this is the secret ingredient to a successful school. Worth a read.
